These three components are combined to form the most typical sealed beam type. Tungsten filaments and halogen lamps are frequently utilized, but a few theatrical applications that call for a high color temperature might utilize hydrargyrum medium-arc iodide (HMI) in its place. The light source typically corresponds to a point source that can be concentrated on.
